Hi Lizzie, This may be unconnected to your situation but, I'll tell you what I recently discovered just in case you or someone else can benefit. I've always had trouble reading for information. The letters tend to 'glow,' 'swim' around the page and go blurry. Quite a few years ago I heard that some children were using coloured lenses to help them read. I thought I'd investigate my situation and sure enough there are a couple of colours that make it much easier for me to read. I wish they would have known about such things when I was in school but, of course, that was before glass was discovered ;o) It took awhile (duh) but a few months ago it suddenly occurred to me that the lenses might help my music reading. The upshot is; I now have a pair of coloured 'band glasses' and they _do_ make it easier. Unfortunately, as Grandad can attest, they don't make my playing any better ;o) HTH Tom --
