Just to add my opinion...
I use
Schilkie 16 on Bb trumpet
Schilkie 15A4 on Soprano Cornet/Piccolo Trumpet
Dennis Wick 3B Heavy Top for Bb Cornet
In cornet playing, the mouthpiece "size" does have an effect on the sound,
but the overall factor in producing a good sound on Cornet/Trumpet/anything
is breathing and support!!
