My twopennyworth on this:

I use:

Bach 7c on cornet
Back 10c on Soprano
Marcinkiewicz  3FLB (I only play flugel in gig bands)
Bach 5 - Orchestral Trumpet work
Al Cass  3x2 24 - Big band work

A fair mixture but they do what I need them to do!

I believe mouthpiece choice is a very personal thing and what's right for
one may not be right for another.
