For something away from the normal 'red nose' tuba solos try 'The Trouble with the Tuba is...' by William Relton or 'Largo al Factotum' arr Stephen Robert (from Obrasso I think). Both are very good and I have bith played them and conducted them on various occasions. Tuba player needs to be quite good for both. Altenatively Steve Sykes' CD's are good for ideas.
