In the UK, I was under the impression that UK brass bands already had this
sorted ?

I`m fairly sure that our band pays a certain amount of funds to the
Performing Rights each year covering a sort of `standard programme` that we
play. I thought this was sorted with the PRS some years ago by the brass
band movement in general.

Someone on the list should be able to enlighten us much more about this.
