I have no figures to back this up, but I suspect that the vast majority of
brass bands in the UK are not members of the PRS. I'm pleased to hear, Andy,
that your band at least have it right. I have heard a number of different
excuses and reasons over the years why bands don't join. If it's any
consolation, many choirs make up the same excuses for not joining.
