Hi everyone, Well it's that time of year again, and i wanted to ask does anybody know what the rights are for busking at christmas? I've busked before, although i'm told that strictly speaking a brass group performing in a town centre should get a licence from their local council. I've never had any problem before, is this true for christmas, or is it just that the rules are relaxed a little? Also, do these licences require a percentage of takings to be given to the council, and how much do they usually cost? Has anyone ever had any problems playing without a licence? Any advice would be very helpful!
