Erik Leidzen (was Re: Re: Arranging & "having it upstairs")



My brass quintet performed a concert for the Steinway
Society of Chicago, and thus felt obligated to program
something that included piano.  There are apparently
scant few pieces scored for such a combination.  But
Erik Leidzen's "The Foursome" did the trick.  I put
down my tuba and played the piano part for this
attractive piece that was written in turn-of-the-20th
century novelty style.
