 hello there, please could you include the following in your news items

Nottingham City Transport Band is pleased to announce new signings ready
for the forthcoming area contest to be held in Burton on Trent in March.
They are Geoff Hawley , soprano cornet, who rejoins the ranks from
Thoresby Colliery Band, Sharon Stansfield  on solo cornet ,from Newstead
Welfare  Band and Rosie Hughes also on solo cornet who  recently played
for Riddings.
he band are hoping for a successful and busy year with their Musical
Director Steve Philips who joined the band in September 2002.
