Could be true - I think he just said that he's been invited to play Bass
Trom for the Mahler, so the assumption was unjustifiably made that he's
already a Bass Trom player.  (I think we can reasonably assume that he plays
in a Brass Band though.)

Obviously not an option, but ... I always try to remember to use my banding
signature when I post to banding groups.  I'm not alone in this.  Perhaps
everyone should try to remember to do this.
