Robert Browne Hall (1858-1907) was a cornetist and band leader from Maine.
He must have been a pretty good cornetist, because before he was 20 he was
in Boston, playing in the First Corps of Cadets band and sharing the Solo
Cornet duties with Alessandro Liberati.  In 1901 he was called to Albany, NY
to reorganize the 10th Regiment Band there, and this is the regiment after
which "10th Regiment" march is named -- or WAS named, until Boosey & Hawkes
decided that they needed to change the title for publication in the U.K.
