A man after my own heart Mark Freeh, I too would rather keep music in it's original keys although I'm not very popular with Eb Tenor Horn players when their parts are in five or six sharps. I find that when I write for Symphonic Band the players in these bands have a different approach to playing, players seem to take up the challenge differently in these bands, possibly because they are professional musicians.........
