The Yamaha has a more brilliant sound than the Sovereign, and I find it
easier to play in tune than the Sov in the higher register (alos using a
Wick 4B) - and I find it has a better response.  You might find that it
penetrates through the band.  It seems to have a better build quality than
the Sovereign - and the valve action is wonderful.
