Hi Mark

What I meant was that, with the advent of this technology, anyone can easily
obtain recordings of orchestras playing the original work - once upon a time
they couldn't and so brass band arrangements were essential.

Haven't you guys heard of 'devil's advocate'? I can think of a number of
responses from the pro-arrangement point of view, but I would be interested
to hear yours - you didn't actually make any, you just offered me abuse.
