I think no unless perhaps they are players who just turn up on the off chance of
a blow .
The problem then is that the band get a reputation as being  money orientated
and unfriendly.
Guests can and do become fee paying members why alienate the would be recruit's
to your band.
If the band has money problems then it is up to members and committee to sort
that not hope to be bailed out by others.
