Dave,

There is a brass ensemble called Altius Brass in Calgary but it is not a brass band.  The best person to get in touch with would be Mike Eastep, a tuba player with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.  He is a brass band enthusiast apparently. Dont have contact details sorry.

Hope all is well with you and that we'll see you in August when we are there with YABB.

The band in Edmonton which Larry advised is The Mill Creek Colliery Band
