Thanx for the fast reply!

I plan on constructing my own posthorn (I have many parts from old horns
that I could put together.. I made many "Frankenstein" trumpets in my youth
(I rehearsed the Brandenburg #2 with my youth orchestra in high school on
one of them, a "herald" style trumpet in F, but performed it on a prototype
Schilke F trumpet... (what's a piccolo trumpet?  ;-) ).

Knowing the key, I now know what length to make it!
