Dunno what was the question but this, Imperial
Echoes, was the signature tune for a news type
programme called Radio Newsreel on World Service (BBC)
and Home Service/Radio 4.

Originally a good Military Band recording, they ruined
it with one of Philip Jones worst eforts in the 1970s
in a high and screechy key, soon abandoned and later,
regrettably the whole programme.

Also the "Lily Bulero" by military band which used to
precede the World Service news.

Then News and Comment were clealy differentiated.
