Re: Instrument Cleaning



I've always found that the best way is to take the instrument apart and
place in a bath of warm water and washing up liquid. Leave to soak for a
few minutes, if it's really nasty then you can but a wire brush cleaner
through it as purchased at music stores.
Then dry thoroughly with a soft tea towel or duster, apply slide grease and
valve oil, play for 15 minutes or until all the water has passed through
and you'll have a shiny new looking instrument at very little cost.
