How I agree wth Ron Grice, test pieces recorded by bands should only be taken as a guide and not gospel, I recall David King recording Laudate Dominum with Y.B.S.B. in 1995, Dr King added extra suspended cymbal parts in variation 4 and, in partiular, the penultimate bar of the work, David apologised most profoundly to Mr Edward Gregson publicly for deviating from his original score, so just because the test piece has been recorded doesn't necessarily mean it's right.
