The tune "Hail smiling morn" is used this is assc. With the Whit Friday
marches held for their original purposes by the Churches. There is also
a song about a "Yorkshire Lass" with some of the words being "and there
I beheld a most beautiful maiden "Etc. Aren't all the Yorkshire
"maidens" beautiful??  Or aren't all Yorkshire lasses "maidens" ??. I'm
sure that everybody knows why Whit Friday is held when it is!!??.
