We just tend to use the flattest instrument, always me, another euph player - so what can you expect ;-), that way the rest of the instruments can drop down to me. It's easier to make an instrument longer and hence flatten it, than to shorten it! That my input anyway, I'll leave the rest of you to argue about it ;-).
