Our music director says he's getting the Brass Band edition of "Tubby the
Tuba" and he wants me to do the solo.  I have the concert band edition,
which I've heard is in a different key than the orchestra original.  (Eb
concert vs. F concert, I believe.)

Can anyone tell me what key the Brass Band version is in?
