Thx, Nigel for all this. I do blame the BBC for paucity of Band music compared with (say) jazz. e.g. LTTB reduced over the yrs - it would be perfectly easy at least to make that follow straight after Friday Night is Music Night instead of a 15minute reading "filler" in between. And Radio 3 virtually refuses to say when they will broadcast band music, even when they do. Rgds --
