Meeting To Make Music

Internet bandsmen meet to put names to faces and organise concerts. We call ourselves the Cyberband and we try to meet every other year or so to put on some event.

It's been a too long since the Cyberband last performed so we believe its time to do it again sometime early in 2005. This time the idea is to bring together the band to perform music available and record a CD of this music. It's early days yet but places are going quickly, if you are interested please drop a line to David Sheedy. The shortlist from which the music to be recorded will be chosen is now available from Nigel Horne.

We met for a third time at the 2000 Whit Friday marches, combining the tradition and future of banding.

In 1997 we met at the Royal Holloway College broadcasting live video as well as sound.

Members of our group met over the weekend of the Nationals in London at the Café Internet on 20/10/96 and we believe it was the first brass band concert broadcast live on the Internet (unless someone knows otherwise!).
