Orchestrated composed backing tracks to Arban solo's

Post by Phil01gunner »

So, trumpet/cornet and BB players (& Euph’s, Bari’s, Flg’s) of the World, at last it is here! The Arban, how many years have we practised this Bible of ours, since about 1860, that’s all. The great solo’s we have practised in privacy of our own room. Perhaps some will never perfect them, but many have. But both have never had the chance to play them with a full orchestra accompanying them, many would like this, but this would also mean having to play it in front of 80 other musicians; daunting? Now you can download a full MP3 orchestral backing of 3 of the great Arban solo’s plus the PDF sheet music at the same time – Carneval De Venise, Tyrolean Vari, Fantasy Brilliante, and Damare’s Cleopatra all via download, each mp3 & PDF are just £2.56/$4. And also, to complement each of these great solo’s there’s a classic encore to be chosen at £1.30/$2. These arrangements are far from the original accompaniments, they are fun and are in technicolour and 3D, and, will tax your listening and ensemble skills. As with many backing tracks you will be pushed to carry on/keep going and the tempo never loses speed (unless in rubato), you have to listen to accompaniment, learn the clues to negotiate pauses and cadenzas and rubato’s to accomplish fluency. There’s also a special guide sheet to help in these passages.
These solo’s have already been tried and tested many years ago by great London Pro’s such as Rod Franks LSO who used them in Yamaha pro-mo concerts when he was developing the Zeno trumpet. James Watson ex Royal Opera and Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, as well as the man who played the picc trumpet track on The Beatles “Penny Lane” David Mason of the Philharmonia. You can’t lose but only enjoy and benefit from the experience.
