Facebook came in for some flack on Radio 4's Broadcasting House this morning, because of concerns over data security. Did you hear it?

no I didnt hear that - but I guess everything on the net is going to come across some sort of 'data security' issue at some point cos of hackers... MySpace has had a lot of people have their accounts hacked in to and will probably continue to do so....

I tend not to think of the negative sides though - I've found loads of people I've not seen since I left school on Facebook and it's great to be able to talk and see what everyones up to now....

The item in the programme had nothing to do with hackers, which is why it was worth mentioning here.

Well, whatever it's about, it won't stop me or the many other thousands and thousands of people from using it.

As I say, I don't see negative sides of everything all the time
