This transcription comprises two contrasting works, Purcell's Funeral March for Queen Mary, here transcribed for cornets, trombones and percussion, and God So Loved the World from Stainer's Crucifixion (perfect for an Easter time concert), here transcribed for flugel, horns, baritones, euphoniums and basses.

The transcription for each work can be used separately, or combined in ABA form as provided on the score and parts.

A setting of God So Loved The World is also available for brass quartet.
