It's completely free to advertise here, please mention where
you saw this listing when replying to adverts here and always mention which band
you play for.
All instruments should be brass band related (that includes
percussion but excludes orchestral and marching band brass). Instruments are
named after the British Brass Band tradition (so don't tell me you have an alto
horn or trumpet to buy or sell!), the phrase brass band describes all
sorts of ensembles, this site only lists brass bands as defined on the What
is a Brass Band page.
Adverts will usually remain here for 3 months. Under
no circumstances will the keeper of this page in any way be responsible for any
of the items or errors on this page. All adverts have been taken in
good faith, but be sensible when buying from someone who you don't know.
Personal transactions for instruments only, for details of a
commercial service for your band or company, please contact Nigel
Horne for pricing details.
While occurrences of fraud are rare, there have been
reports of fraudsters posing as buyers and sending out scam e-mails, often
stating that they are acting on behalf of a third party who is in debt. Remember
to use common sense and that legitimate buyers will not offer you above the
asking price or to pass on some money to a third party.
Some of the items marked as for sale are available for swap
for other instruments. Contact the seller for further information.
Finally, if you have any beaten up instruments that are beyond
economic repair, Andy Callard would
appreciate them to help him study for his instrument repair course.
