What section are we in?
The vacancies page of the Brass Band Portal classifies bands by section. The names of the sections reflect those used by bands in the United Kingdom.
Other countries have their own names for the various sections, this handy table compares the various sections in different countries. In the UK, youth bands are restricted to players ages 19 and below.
