Roy Newsome wrote "Concerto for Piano and Band".  It was commissioned for,
and received its first performance at the Festival Concerts of the National
Brass Band Festival at Royal Albert Hall in October 1969.  It appears on an
old recording by Black Dyke entitled Ivory and Brass, is conducted by Roy
Newsome, with pianist Keith Swallow.
