Steve Larwood writes: >& him playing my Euph (I had hurt my neck & couldnt wear a marching strap). A marching strap for a euphonium????? I've been playing (and marching) with a eupho in Australia and New Zealand for 40 years and I've never even seen a marching strap for a euph. I always assumed that a eupho player's ego was big enough to make the instrument seem as light as a tenor horn on the march. None of those sissy bass-type straps for us if you please... Perhaps they just breed us tougher down under!!! (Having said that, I usually loose about 3 kilos in perspiration every time we march anywhere, much to amusement of the band members.) :-) Cheers, Roy, Principal Eupho, Greater Dandenong Band, Melbourne, VIC, Australia. www.centurynova.com.au/greaterdandenongband/ --
