hi all i hope this finds you all well

bit of an advert this one (sorry)

on sat night (21st april 2001)  The Riddings Band are presenting their annual
spring concert at Ripley leisure centre. it starts at 7pm (BST)

this year ALL proceeds from the concert are going to leukaemia research so it
would be good if some of you would like to come along and support us (the b
band are playing too)

we chose this charity, because ryan (the son of anthony (BBb Bass) and hayley
(2nd horn)) was diagnosed with leukaemia 18 months ago, so it is something
that is close to all of us

i am pleased to report though that ryan is making very good progress, so the
band feel that it is right that we give something towards this charity who
have helped ryan to where he is today.

ryan is a very good pianist, and it is hoped that he will also perform a
couple of items in the concert.

tickets are 4 pounds sterling (under 10's free) and can be purchased on the
door, or they can be reserved by e-mailing me (john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) with
your name and how many tickets you would like. your tickets will then be
reserved and be available at the door on the night (i will also be happy to
supply directions too)

i hope that some of you can come along, and if you do please come and say
hello to us all, it will be lovely to see you
