Best wishes to all bandspeople taking part in the New Zealand
Championships, being held at Wanganui from Wednesday to Saturday.

The set tests are:
A grade: Variations on an Enigma (Philip Sparke)
B: A Downland Suite (John Ireland)
C: Variations on Laudate Dominum (Gregson(?))
D: Own choice only

Any comments from B-graders about their set test?

May the competition be as healthy and friendly as ever!

P.S. As always, the highlight is likely to be reading the satirical
magazine "The Mouthoff"... a superb publication that thumbs its nose at
