Hi,

When I finally graduate (5 years down, 7 weeks to go whoo hoo!) I may have
the opportunity of working in Paris. Now this would be an excellent career
opportunity but the question is this; are there any brass bands in Paris and
what is the banding scene in France Europe generally? I've heard of the
French Open, but what is this? do French bands take part in it?

Also are there any other list members who manage high flying jobs such as
consultancy etc. as well as maintaining their musical activities? And if so
how do you do it?
