At the recent AGM of Hitchin Band, the Musical Director (Gary Carney)
presented awards to the Most Improved Player (Lisa Huckle) and Best
Section (Front Row Cornets - Dinah Prince, Jack Smith and Derek Haynes).


The band members voted Duncan Henderson as Bandsman of the Year for his
all round contribution to the Band and in particular, his work in
getting the band into new rehearsal premises at Hitchin College.

The band also elected a new secretary, Dinah Prince who can be contacted
on 01582 539531. Alternatively, contact with the band can be made

The band are also looking for new players to support them through the
busy summer months and beyond.
