I like what was written in the NABBA Program:

"The Instant Band is a group of North Amercian musicians brought together by
the Maple Leaf Brass Band...We shall meet for the first time on Friday, April
20 [the day before the Competition]...We thank you for your indulgence and
apologize if we are better than your band."
