I think Black Dyke recorded it during Roger Webster's first spell with the band. I think Sandy Smith also played on it. Sorry, can't remember who else played in the 4tet but it may have been Bob Childs and Phil xxx (ex Besses - great player and nice guy - sorry your last name alludes me Phil). The Horrowits Euph Concerto (Bob), Rimsky-Korsakov Trom Concerto (Norma Law) and possibly Gordon Jacob Cornet Concerto (Roger) are also featured. Peter Parkes conducting. Great CD. Very enteratining. For me, the highlight is the Horrowitz. My 13 year old son James likes the Rimsky though and regularly plays along to it. Not one of Rimsky's best pieces methinks :-)))) Happy Days Alan Boyer MD.
