Dear All,

Just wanted to offer a public congratulations and thanks to the new
Queen Wuss - Sarah Wilson.  She organised this year's Wuss Brass scratch
band with style and panache.  We even managed to compete at 8 villages -
a record year!

I for one (and a half - I had my 6 month son with me), had a fantastic
time.  Precision organisation for the rehearsal and at each of the
villages we played, a bar that stayed open until 4.00am, scrumptious
packed lunch, buffet on our return and more lubrication (although, being
a responsible parent this year, diet coke didn't have quite the same
effect!!) ..... and to top it all, we won the Entertainment Prize at
Greenfield with our rendition of Lambeth Walk for the march approach!

Thank you Sarah for an excellent weekend ....... you've definitely got
the job next year .......
