1) I thought that unfounded meant that there was no evidence and/or reason to present a given cause. Still, I'm a journalism student - what do I know? :)
2) Surely the answer to this is, if you are not giving an opinion that you know would agree with that of the band you play for, to omit the band's name from your "signature."
