For those band people interested find below the results of the annual
contest held in Troon on Sat 2nd Jun 01. This event held in the Walker
Halls attracted a total of 7 bands consisting of 3 x championship, 1x
1st section, 1 x 2nd section and 2 x 3rd section bands:

Best 3rd Sect Band	    Clydebank Burgh (182 points)
runners up			  Downshire Brass (179 points)

Best 2nd sect Band	    Renfrew Burgh (183 points)

Best 1st Sect Band	    Johnstone Silver (189 points)

Best Championship Band   Kirkintilloch   (190 points)
runners up			 Kingdom Brass (187 points)  
3rd place			   Dalmellington (184 points)

Dress and Deportment Award
