Sorry to start another discussion (not really):
I've decided that I have perfect pitch after being able to hum a note from
absolutely nowhere and recognise note names without aid etc, but the
question I want the answer to is how did I get it? Have I inhereted it (I
think my dad has it too) or have I developed it or what, because I've never
done anything to purposely develop it. Could it be the fact that I've grown
up listening to music since I was born or anything like that?
Could it also be a reason for some people describing me as a natural,
because I really don't think I've worked very hard compared to some to get
where I am.
I'm honestly not trying to shout out to everyone about thinking that I'm
talented or anything like that, I'm just very curious to why I should be
provided with such a useful tool.
