Well that makes me more or less the opposite to you then: I dont have "perfect pitch" as you describe in that i can't name a note when i hear it.. but however, i am VERY sensitive to tuning and can tell if a note is out of tune (either sharp or flat) even if the note is played on its own (ie. not in unison with another person playing the same note). I suppose it doesn't help that i am a perfectionist and are never really happy with the way i've played and constantly strive to improve it.
