You have nailed it as my version is an earlier one.
I will upgrade it. I never bothered before as I had
not been using it and was used to it.
I HATE software I have to register and avoid registering
software because of this. I upgrade my system
several times a year and constantly reregistering
software when I am just reinstalling it peeves me.
Beside with a lot of it you wind up with "reminders"
and junk Email. If I buy a software and do not register
that is my business.
