Hi Karl,

If the piece is by Handel, it is probably 'Xerxes' which is a complete
opera.  There are several arias or duets from it that are adaptable for
wedding music.  It might help to ask her if it was long and slow, or fast
and upbeat, etc.  The aria from it that I know best (a slow melody-type) is
"Ombra mai fu" but I'm not aware of any arrangements of that aria for two
trumpets.  You might try searching some of the music publisher catalogs
on-line.
