I guess I've been asleep.

When did this happen:

BOOSEY & HAWKES HAVE NOW CANCELLED THE CONTRACT FOR THE NATIONAL CONTESTING
COUNCIL TO MANAGE THE ' NATIONAL BRASS BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS OF GREAT BRITAIN'

ANY INQUIRIES REGARDING THE CHAMPIONSHIPS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE BRITISH
FEDERATION OF BRASS BANDS.

And what does it really mean?

Sorry; if this has been done to death, maybe someone could point me to a
webpage where I can read about it.
