The British Federation of Brass Bands has announced the test pieces for
next year's Regional qualifying contests.
They are:

Championship section: WHITSUN WAKES (Michael Ball),
Novello & Co (Studio Music).

First section: ROYAL PARKS (George Lloyd), Boosey & Hawkes (Studio
Music).

Second section: SYMPHONY FOR BRASS (Victor Ewald, arr. Michael
Hopkinson), Kirklees Music.

Third section: ST. AUSTELL SUITE (Kenneth Downie), Kantara Music.

Fourth section: SUITE IN B FLAT (Gordon Jacob), R. Smith & Co.
