Just returned from a nice cruise, a first for my wife and I, sailing on
a relocation cruise from Vancouver, Canada to Hawawii.
On the Rhapsody of the Seas for Two Weeks, with six days at sea alone.
On the music side, they had good entertainment and I had the chance to
speak to the bandleader of the group. David Bennett (sp) a great
trombone player who stated he had played in Black Dyke a couple of
decades back.
Has anyone ever heard of him?
Of course the music wasn't Brass Band type, but they played quite well
with David playing as well as directing. (A left hander like James
Watson!)
