Try using a sound module like a ROLAND or KORG. They have reasonable lifelike sounds. Or if a budget allows (£2000 - £4000) then a KURZWEILL Module or keyboard. There is no way to emulate a band sound, (My opinion) it would be interesting to samplesome of the top players into a sampler (AKAI) and see what the result would be!!!.. Any offers..... Sound cards don't give that same sound as an external module via MIDI. Try amplifying your sound card and see if the quality improves or perhaps a graphic equalizer or sound porocessor would help. Hope this has been useful Cheers David Beal GBSM A.Mus.LCM ABSM(P) ABSM(T) ABSM(C) Headline Music Productions www.headline-music.co.uk www.headline-music.com -- wax-recording.com, simply the best, most cost-effective and least stressful route to recording an album.
