I use a "Giardinelli C8" in quite a large bore "Hans Hoya" Horn ( not a
tenor horn )and it is a pretty big mouthpiece. It is quite bucket-like. I'm
sure that you could get an even bigger one without trying to fit a huge
tenor trom MP into such a small, small lead-pipe.

I also play tuba, trom. and eupho. and find it relatively easy to go back to
the horn with a small change in embouchure - but a huge change in breath
control. I use the correct MP for each instrument.

By the way, why do you assume a horn is cheaper to buy than a tuba? Mine
cost almost double what my band paid for the Yamaha Bb Tuba I sometimes
play.
